I'll be visiting Nepal for a holiday from 8th December till January 11th, during which time I'll go trekking but also I will spend 10 days helping Conscious Impact to rebuild schools in the area worst affected by the earthquakes earlier this year.

I'm looking forward to using my skills to help some people who really need it with the rebuilding project. I'm also really keen to help with the agricultural project that is hoping to improve food quantity and variety by trialing new crops and techniques that the Nepalese people cannot normally risk trying. There is also an after school club where the volunteer group gets to know the children who will be using the schools by playing music and doing art activities with them.
