While I have had a passion for medicine for quite some time, it was not until college that I developed a strong interest in working with medically underserved populations. Through my service experiences and Poverty Studies Minor, I learned about the lack of quality healthcare in areas of poverty and the ways I can hopefully make a difference as a medical professional.
