Dear Friends,

We have all been witness to the amazing comeback that Buffalo and the Western New York region have experienced in recent years. It has allowed us to look towards a brighter and more promising future, as long as we continue to strive together for progress. We invite you to join us as we announce our initiative to establish a Community HUB on the Eastside of Buffalo. This effort will involve six Eastside ministries: New Generation Ministries, Bethesda World Harvest International, New Life Christian Fellowship, Antioch Holiness Church, Shining Light Apostolic Ministries, and the M.A.N. Program.

The Community HUB will offer a variety of spiritual, educational, and recreational programs. It will provide safe havens, after-school tutoring and mentoring programs, relationship counseling, job readiness support, and court advocacy. In the longer run, we aim to construct soccer fields and refurbish neighborhood housing for single parents.
Sadly, the Eastside is the last area of Buffalo to begin to rise from the ashes of the Steel Age. This neighborhood has been deeply troubled by high rates of murder, rape, burglary, and illegal drug sales. With deep roots in the neighborhood, the contributing churches are perfectly positioned to understand and respond to residents’ needs as they work to establish the Community HUB. We invite business leaders, city officials, and members of urban and suburban churches to donate and work alongside each other to give hope to the youth of this area. This is a God ordained vision for the community and we are pleading for you to take part in this mission.
