As I pursue my education in Biomedical Sciences and Dance I am extremely interested in how movement can be healing physically and psychologically. Becoming more globally aware and doing everything I can to help the world I live in is something I always strive for. When I heard of Movement Exchange, I was immediately interested because it perfectly combines my passions. My goal is to be able to travel to Panama City, Panama to teach underprivileged youth in various orphanages dance in hopes of heightening their self-esteem, confidence, self-worth and ability to be creatively expressive. I am so grateful that I am able to learn dance at such a high level with amazing facilities and teachers, and I want to spread this beautiful art form to those who don’t have such abundant resources. Dance heals! I want to share this gift as much as I can!
