Morgan Jenkins
Leesburg VA, 20176Passionate About:
I am passionate about the well-being of my community as a whole; I get a unique feeling of happiness and fulfillment when I help others and watch them smile. I have been involved in many volunteering activities to show my compassion for others.
The last two years I have been an EMT with the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad, every Thursday evening I dedicate my time to serving the community. I graduated EMT school and became nationally registered in the beginning of June 2021.
My Junior year of highschool I attended the Academies of Loudoun and was enrolled in Health Informatics (MATA) which I successfully completed, the class gave me an introduction to the IT side of healthcare, it gave me an in-depth understanding of HIPAA, the price of medical care, and documenting patient care in the Electronic Health Record. I continued my education at the Academies my senior year with the brand new Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) pathway. I will be a part of the first graduating class for this pathway and will complete 48 hours in a long-term care facility helping residents with their daily tasks and needs.
I have reached out to my community in many ways and would love the opportunity to share my knowledge and compassion for another community in need.
