I’m incredibly excited to spend a week in Honduras volunteering with One World Surgery this November.

One World Surgery provides life-changing surgical care to people who otherwise may have little or no access to it. Their permanent surgical center in Honduras provides year-round care, with visiting medical teams expanding access to specialty surgeries while also supporting education and training for the local healthcare community.

The surgery center is located on the 2,000-acre Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) ranch, which is also home to about 150 children and includes schools, vocational programs, a farm, gardens, and clinics. While I'm in Honduras, I’ll have the opportunity to help both within the surgical center and around the ranch throughout the week.

I’ll be traveling November 14–21 alongside my longtime friends and incredible surgeons Dr. Murthi and Dr. Chebli, and I truly can’t wait to experience this work firsthand, meet the people behind it, and contribute wherever I’m needed.
