I have a wonderful opportunity to do something special. I have been accepted to go on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. I will be working with an organization called One World Surgery. I will be providing nursing assistance in both the surgical suite and in the outpatient clinic as well as bringing needed medical supplies to be used while there. My clinical services are a donation of my heart; however, I'm fundraising and asking for donations to cover the cost of my flight, extra bag fees for the medical supplies that I will be taking with me as well program fees which cover my food, on-ground transportation to the center and housing.
