I will be going to Honduras with Dr. Mary Hannon and Dr. Michael Hannon with One World Surgery this July. Dr. Hannon and Dr. Hannon have gone annually to Honduras with One World (with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic). I am very honored to have the opportunity to attend this July's Orthopedic Surgery week. I am in the process of finishing up two years in Orthopedic Surgery and will be starting at Loyola Chicago Stritch School of Medicine a couple of weeks after I return. The ability to witness and assist in life-changing procedures will help to put me in the frame of mind to enter medical school. I am doing this WITH other like-minded people and FOR people who need access to care.
