Many of you know I had the privilege of attending several medical mission trips to Honduras and the Dominican Republic over the last few years. They had a need for General Volunteers, and I was able to find enough support from people like you, to attend those trips.

In October 2025, I have the good fortune to attend another Mission Back to Honduras with One World Surgery, I have two weeks to raise the funds for housing and travel for this trip, please consider donating to our trip if you are able!

One World Surgery is a global surgery nonprofit with a mission to ignite the spirit of service and transform lives by providing access to high-quality surgical care globally. Their three cornerstone programs include operating global surgery centers, leading surgical medical missions, and building the capacity of local medical professionals through education and training. During week-long medical mission trips, physicians, other clinical participants, nonclinical participants, and family members come together to perform life-changing surgeries.

Did you know that 5 billion people lack access to safe and affordable surgical care? Fortunately, One World Surgery is changing this equation through its world-class surgery center in Honduras, and new clinic in Dominican Republic and its medical mission programs. Since 2009, One World Surgery has provided over 5,000 free, life-changing surgeries to patients who would otherwise go without care. I am so excited about One World Surgery’s mission and am proud to have been a part of two different medical mission trips to Honduras.
