Westminster Christian School Global STEM Squads

Westminster Christian School aims to provide access to clean water in rural under resourced communities through applying STEM skills. Our student volunteers work alongside local engineers to assess, design, and construct infrastructure projects that range from rainwater harvesters that supply drinking water for local schools to large scale community-wide water systems that pipe water directly into households. Each of our student volunteers has a donation goal to help cover logistical expenses while abroad such as transport, local staff, meals, insurance, accommodations, but most important, the year-round follow-up to our project by local staff to ensure the sustainability over time. Professional Development Workshop STEM Squads

Professional Development Workshop aims to provide access to clean water in rural under resourced communities through applying STEM skills. APPLYING VIRTUAL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAMS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM Join our panel of experts for a 5-day workshop for classroom leaders examining how to keep students engaged virtually with live international STEM case studies.  Review and demo STEM TeleSquad program offerings and content.  Learn and discuss how to implement GPS Mapping, EPANET Software, and CAD Design Software.  Discover how each session can create meaningful learning outcomes through live case studies and hands-on application in the classroom.
