    Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.

Columbia University is a chapter of Global Business Brigades, an international movement of university students and professionals building economic opportunities in the developing world. We work alongside promising entrepreneurs and experienced year-round staff to create financial opportunities in remote, rural, and under resourced areas of Honduras and Ghana. We work with communities to build community-owned banks to provide access to loans, savings accounts and financial literacy for community members. Business Brigades at Duke University

Business Brigades is a discipline of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The Duke chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually. Global Business Brigades provides business consulting and strategic investment to support under resourced microenterprises in developing countries while respecting local culture and improving the environment. Focus is in remote and rural communities in Panama, where we partner with other local development organizations to assess, implement and monitor sustainable development projects.
