My name is Galilea Magana, I am a senior at Rancho Cotate.

Helping others is what I have always been aspired to do. If I see an opportunity to do so i take it, in any form possible. Whether it just be helping take care of the elderly or going as far as to go out of the country to help others in need. I find this opportunity to be as one in a lifetime. There is nothing that can ever compare to the feeling you get when helping those who need it the most. Going on this trip to Ecuador and help restore forestation is one of the biggest things anyone can do. I myself have experienced what it is like living in such poor conditions, where forestation is so low, dry... I would love nothing more than to go on this trip and help regrow what they once had and need. If i could, I would go to every town, state, country, continent to help every single person who is need. This trip... this trip will be just the beginning of that goal.
