Thank you! Much time has passed since I went on my first trip to Honduras with the Global Water Brigades and none of it would have been possible without your contribution. I went with the intention of building the foundation of a water system that improved access to our precious water resources. Since early April, water has been running through the pipes that I helped install-all that trench digging paid off!

Water Brigades students and staff worked with the community of El Cantón for over a year in order to achieve completion of the water project, which began in March 2011. The finished system carries a consistent supply of clean and sufficient water to 87 houses in the community, impacting the lives of approximately 550 people.
