This September, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Honduras on a medical mission with One World Surgery. Out of many applicants across our organization, I was honored to be selected as one of the volunteers for this life-changing experience.

As a physical therapist, serving others through healthcare is a passion of mine. During this mission, our team will work alongside medical professionals to provide pre- and post-operative care and support to patients who otherwise may not have access to these life-changing procedures. For many individuals and families, this care means relief from years of pain, improved mobility, the ability to return to work, and a better quality of life.

I am grateful that my employer, Ivy Rehab, is generously covering the cost of the mission itself. The only expense volunteers are responsible for is airfare. I am raising funds to help cover my travel expenses so I can focus fully on serving patients and supporting this important work.
