About American Society for Microbiology at Duke University
American Society for Microbiology at Duke University (Duke ASM) is the first student chapter of ASM in NC at Duke University. Duke ASM is committed to enhance, develop and cultivate Duke students’ interest in Microbiology and related fields while fostering professionalism and expertise in scientific research by providing practical and interactive workshops, programs and networking events for students.
Our core programs include Research Development Workshop, Biweekly Journal Club, Duke ASM Fellowship and an Annual Networking and Research Conference.
