Hey, everyone! My name is Alexis, and I'm a junior pre-med student studying Science Pre-Professional and Spanish at the University of Notre Dame. My sophomore year, I was accepted to become part of Notre Dame's chapter of Global Medical Brigades, and I participated in my first medical, dental, and public health hybrid brigade this past March. I am incredibly thankful and blessed to have a second chance at partaking in an international medical brigade to Nicaragua this spring break and work alongside physicians to provide health care for the strong, hopeful people of Nicaragua. My first brigade to Nicaragua was life-changing and further ignited my passion for global health and helping the underserved.

With aspirations of becoming a doctor, this upcoming trip means a lot to me. Prayers and donations are much appreciated! Your donations will go toward my program fee, which largely includes pharmacy utilities, medical/dental equipment, and extra medications that we will use during the brigade.
