About
Team Vital aims to improve health care access in under resourced communities abroad. Our participants work with in -country staff to implement health clinics and provide regular health care access. We also learn about and address some of the systemic issues behind preventable diseases in the community by implementing health workshops. We are a chapter of Squads Abroad, a 501c3 non-profit working to improve health, education and economic outcomes in the developing world with our parent organization Global Brigades.

Team Vital Global Health Telesquad October 2020 Honduras

Volunteer Activity Description

Each Global Health TeleSquad is designed for aspiring health students to build medical knowledge through skill-based volunteering, build cultural competency through virtual immersion, and deliver real impact through our local team by participating in live clinics.

Health TeleSquads is a program of Global Brigades, a highly recognized international development organization that uniquely implements a Holistic Model that targets specific UN Sustainable Development goals within partner communities. Our model systematically builds community ownership and collaboratively executes programs with the end goal of sustainably transitioning to a relationship of impact monitoring.
