Fundraising Campaign Description:
In order to reach our goal to providing a sustainable and promotion of taking care and protecting their teeth, we must be able to provide more fillings to our communities. Fillings are important to members in allowing them to restore their teeth rather than extracting them. Currently only Honduras has this been provided and recently has shown a great increase in interest from community members and also in numbers. In 2011, each of the three units were able to provide over 520 fillings totaling when in 2010, a total of a little over 200 were performed. The increase in the number of units will not directly affect how many patients we see but will the quality of care that we want to provide for the communities.
