Fundraising Campaign Description:
Participants from MISIP (Marshall Indonesia Summer Internship Program) are raising money for an orphanage located in Bali, Indonesia. The orphanage was started by A World is Just a Book Away, an organization started by Professor James J. Owens from the University of Southern California.
The World is Just a Book Away (WIJABA) is a global non-profit organization that focuses on inspiring and educating children in developing countries, through providing books, building libraries, and developing curricular programs.
Our fundraising campaign will directly benefit the orphanage in Bali to raise money for books, school supplies, and other materials needed to further the education for the children. $5,000 will be enough to build an entire new library for the children.
Participants from this program will visit the orphanage at the end of July.
