Crean Lutheran High School - Global Business

  • About
Crean Lutheran High School aims to inspire entrepreneurism and financial literacy abroad for youth in under-resourced communities. Our Squad helps create small businesses for partner schools to diversify funding and teach real-world business skills to their students. As volunteers, we mobilize abroad to provide start-up capital and financial literacy workshops. We need your help to reach our goals! Consider donating or joining our next Squad! We are a chapter of Squads Abroad, a 501c3 non-profit working to improve health, education and economic outcomes in the developing world with our parent organization Global Brigades.

Volunteer Activity Description
Global Business Squads mobilize students abroad to Inspire entrepreneurism and financial literacy abroad for youth in under-resourced communities. Each Squad helps create small businesses for schools to diversify funding and teach real-world business skills to their students. Volunteers provide start-up capital, financial literacy workshops, and creating areas out of our community banks focused on child savings programs. Business Squads is a program of Global Brigades, a highly recognized international development organization that uniquely implements a Holistic Model that targets specific UN Sustainable Development goals within partner communities. Our model systematically builds community ownership and collaboratively executes programs with the end goal of sustainably transitioning to a relationship of impact monitoring.
