August 18-25, 2013 Honduras Arch/Water Brigade

Volunteers on the Explore Honduras Brigade spend eight days in a rural community of Honduras. Volunteers will have the chance to learn about and experience an Architecture & Water Brigade. The first 3 days of the brigade will be focused on Architecture. During these 3 days, volunteers will gain experience with Global Brigades Technicians to learn about community infrastructure and work with community members to construct a portion of a health center. On the Water portion of the brigade, volunteers spend 3 days working alongside community members to gain access to sufficient clean water through the building or repair of a gravity or pump based water system.
